She is becoming difficult these days...
Today I wanted to go to a shopping mall with her.
We always ride bicycles when we do that.
I was about to ride an old one but she didn't like it.
She didn't want me to ride an old bicycle or she didn't want to go out with me!
So I finally decided to go with a newer one which is fashionable but does not have a basket (to put bags in).
It seems like outward beauty or neatness is the most important thing in her life!
It is very different from Western music, I am sure!

The other day I was talking with my internet friend and he didn't know about yukata.
So I uploaded a picture of my daughter in yukata.
(Oh but he doesn't know i have a vox blog!)
It is a kind of kimono,but it is casual and made of cotton.
It is basically summer attire or people used it as nightwear. (nowadays we wear pajamas!)
And now younger people like to wear this for summer festivals.
My daughter was going out with friends to see the famous Gion festival in Kyoto.
I went shopping with my daughter because she wanted me to buy a pair of treckking shoes.
She has to go mountain climbing from her school.
And these treckking shoes are so expensive, I can't believe it. ( well I decided to buy reasonable ones)
After that we went to Nishiki shrine to take some pictures, which is very close to the shopping area.
After that we went to a restaurant for lunch.
Because of its beautiful flowers, it is always crowded at this time of the year.
However it is in the middle of the rainy season in Japan.
I am so fortunate to be able to go there and take photos without being wet!
And one of the foreign-looking couple asked about the admission fee and left without entering.
I do hope tourists can enjoy visiting great places without paying so much.
But at the same time, I know a beautiful garden like this costs a lot of money for maintenance!
